ginger vanilla smoothie

ginger is one of my favorite ingredients to add into my smoothies. it adds a little tangy taste, is amazing for optimizing digestion, along with so many other health benefits. i just toss in a chunk of it into the blender along with all of the other ingredients + it turns out amazing!

also - adding mint and vanilla protein powder really helps balance out the strong ginger taste!

ingredients

1 frozen banana

1 tsp cinnamon

small chunk of ginger

1 serving vanilla protein powder

a handful of spinach/greens or spirulina - optional but added greens are always good

a few mint leaves or peppermint extract

1 tsp maca - optional

ice + liquid to blend

blend it all up and i love to add granola or cereal on top xx
