mint coco cacao smoothie

this mint coco cacao smoothie is so refreshing and delicious. it tastes like dessert for breakfast and is full of protein and superfoods to make your body happy + healthy!

i love adding mint into my smoothies for the taste and it is an amazing aid for digestion. cacao powder is an incredible antioxidant, helps with mood + energy regulation, and is amazing for your metabolic health. cinnamon is always a must in my smoothies just because i love the taste and it is an amazing anti-inflammatory. oh and adding frozen coconut milk cubes adds such a wonderful coconut taste and creates the best thick texture!

ingredients

1 frozen banana

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbs cacao powder

1 serving vanilla protein powder

a few mint leaves or a few drops of peppermint extract

a few frozen coconut milk cubes or regular coconut milk

handful of ice

a little plant milk to blend

throw all of your ingredients in a blender and top with cacao nibs + whatever else you love!
