cardamom french toast
french toast but make it healthy.
cardamom is one of my favorite spices to add to recipes to make them fun + interesting! it creates the most wonderful flavor and adding it to french toast is my favorite! this french toast is all dairy free, refined sugar free, optional gluten free + vegan, and just delicious!
method + ingredients
soak your bread of choice in a mixture of 1 egg(or flax egg), 1 tbs plant milk, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1 tsp cardamom. then cook your soaked bread on a pan in a little bit of of coconut oil to make it extraaa crispy.
and top with whatever you love! i love adding bananas, cacao nibs, maple syrup, yogurt, or jam.
