cauliflower oats

okay – it seems weird at first, but adding cauliflower rice to your oatmeal is a game changer! it adds more volume to your oat bowl, it’s an easy way to get in some extra veggies, and it even tastes amazing! its a very neutral flavor and I don’t find that it makes the oats taste weird at all. so give it a try!

you can either “rice” your cauliflower at home or usually grocery stores carry riced cauliflower. the method: cook your oats as indicated by the label, and usually about the last 6 minutes of cooking I toss the cauli rice into the pan. finish cooking, pour into a bowl, and top it with what you love!

ingredients

1/4 c steel cut oats

1/2 c cauli rice

1 tsp cinnamon

1 serving vanilla protein powder - optional

+ top with your favorite toppings! I love adding plant based yogurt, banana, plant milk, honey, and granola.
