my morning routine

a morning routine is SO IMPORTANT. it sets the tone for the day, and at least for me, how good of a day i have is so reliant on how i start it in the morning. i’m pretty used to my morning routine, it is something i look forward to every day, and so i wanted to share it for some inspiration.

keep in mind, it is OKAY to not follow your routine perfectly every day. no one is perfect, each day is different, some days i sleep in, some days i wake up early, but having some structure to my mornings is most important to me.

wake up. normally i set an alarm because i have to be at school or somewhere, but i love to wake up early when the sun rises.

drink a glass of water. it is so important to hydrate your body after sleeping.

take my pre/probiotic and eat some fruit. i’m usually hungry but want something light, so i’ll have some fruit in the morning which gives me energy and optimizes my digestion.

exercise. i love to go on a walk for about an hour, and then do some pilates. my favorite pilates program is Tasha Franken.

then i’ll shower, do my skincare routine, get dressed and ready for the day.

breakfast. i’m hungry at this point so i’ll usually have a protein smoothie with some granola for breakfast.

and that’s my morning routine!
