my daily non-negotiables

a list of my daily non-negotiables. in other words, the habits I do on a daily basis that i love the most and make me feel my best. having a routine and daily habits keeps me grounded, and finding the ones that work best for me has made such a difference. consistency is key!


a morning routine: finding the habits i love most and consistently following a morning routine leaves me feeling so grounded and sets up my days for success. 

a night routine: i never used to have a night routine until recently, but it has made such a difference on my sleep. stretching before bed, putting my phone away, reading, winding down, and being consistent with that routine has helped my sleep so much. 

exercising and moving my body: moving my body consistently and in a way that i actually enjoy. i love walking, running, pilates, and a little functional training every now and then, and it’s a part of my day i really look forward to. 

stretching: something i am working on being consistent with but it is so so important for your body. i try to set a goal to stretch after workouts and right before bed !!

staying hydrated: drink your water! electrolyte packs, tea, and lemon water to help make it easier!

getting fresh air + sunshine: daily walks are my favorites and fresh air and sunshine is always so much needed. leaves me feeling refreshed and grounded. 

mindfulness: lastly is mindfulness. something i am still working on, in all areas of my life. in eating, time on my phone and online, what i put my energy into, my mood, my thoughts. mindfulness is something i try to work on everyday. i listened to a podcast recently of Dr. Joe Dispenza on Ed Mylett’s podcast and he has a really powerful conversation about being mindful of your thoughts. definitely recommend!
